Sometime in early April, when the Covid-19 pandemic hit, I got a call from a close friend who was frantically speaking. It turns out, he had just lost his job. And to make matters worse, he wasn’t fully prepared for it — he didn’t have enough money in the bank.

The best I could do was connect him to one of my friends who is a financial advisor. The advisor brought some sanity into the whole process, and helped my friend align his portfolio.

As the days ensued, I read plenty such stories of people equally worried if not less. Some had their salaries delayed, some were laid off, some were worried about their family’s security. This made us realise that there were huge underlying problems that had to be solved -
